Chambers members are regularly instructed in some of the most complex and serious public law cases (care proceedings), on behalf of the local authority, mother, father, guardian and grandparents. Often involving; child trafficking, forced marriages, neglect, non-accidental injury and sexual abuse. Direct Public Access means that anyone can now come straight to a barrister at Westgate Chambers. We are a team of approachable and expert barristers who provide clear, solution focussed and effective legal advice in many areas of law. Mediation and Arbitration

Arbitration - Chambers can offer the services of barristers who are qualified as Children Arbitrators, accredited and regulated by the Institute of Family Law Arbitrators. Children Arbitration is also governed by the Arbitration Act 1996. All our Arbitrators are senior expert children law barristers, having practiced as such for many years.
