Richard Barton successfully concludes a serious case in Merthyr Tydfil, representing a middle-aged woman of previous good character who, whilst voluntarily detained in a hospital, attacked a doctor with a bladed article, permanently scarring his ear and neck.

Richard, briefed by MMA solicitors, said ‘This was a troubling case, where the defence team working together were able to marshal appropriate expert evidence and other material so as to ensure that the defendant did not receive an immediate custodial sentence.’
