Jordan joined Westgate Chambers after the successful completion of his pupillage. Since commencing practice in 2014 he has developed a busy caseload. With an approachable manner, he is keen to ensure that each client understands every step in proceedings to ensure good working relationships are developed with people of all ages and backgrounds. He has been instructed in cases of serious allegations against children and has received commendation for his careful preparation and sensitive handling in these matters.
Jordan both prosecutes and defends in a range of criminal matters and has experience in the Magistrates Court, Youth Court and Crown Court across the South East. He has appeared in cases involving allegations of violence, sexual offending, fraud, theft and driving offences. In addition to his CPS prosecution work, Jordan has been instructed by the Environment Agency, the Home Office, the Probation Service and the police. He has undertaken work as a disclosure junior in cases raising complex issues of, amongst others, Legal Professional Privilege and Public Interest Immunity.
Jordan has a growing civil practice, with experience in road traffic, housing, personal injury and contract matters. He frequently appears in the County Court conducting hearings, trials and negotiations on behalf of clients and regularly advises on questions of liability and quantum.
