Kyle is a civil law practitioner who also accepts instructions in aspects of criminal law.  His extensive and varied legal experience often gives him an advantage, which makes him a highly effective and efficient advocate. He is noted for his calm and personable approach to complex legal cases.

Civil Law

Kyle regularly provides advice and representation to persons and organisations in general litigation, landlord and tenant (Commercial and Residential), property, injunctions, contempt of court and contractual dispute cases.

He receives instructions in trials and case management hearings, including multi-track cases. He appears in the County Court, High Court and First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).

Local Government and Public Law

Kyle has many years’ experience of dealing with cases involving Central Government, London Borough and Regional Councils, particularly in the areas of civil litigation and criminal prosecutions.

In civil, Kyle deals with housing, injunctions (including anti-social behaviour), appeals against Community Protection Notices and other applications under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

In the area of prosecutions, he has extensive experience of advising and representing London Borough and Regional Councils in a wide array of trials, case management, sentencing and appeal hearings.  He deals with cases before the Magistrates’ Court, Crown Court and High Court. Such matters include breaches of Community Protection Notices and Planning Enforcement Notices, and ancillary proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002/confiscation proceedings.

Criminal Law

Kyle has many years’ experience of prosecuting and defending in all aspects of criminal cases. He has both prosecuted and defended in jury trials.

Direct Access

Kyle also accepts instructions from lay clients via Direct Access.
