Christopher’s busy family practice sees him represent, parents, children via their guardians as well as other family members and intervenors.

Care Proceedings

Christopher’s practice and specialism sees him deal with the most serious of cases where he accepts instruction on cases that involve, non-accidental injury and sexual abuse of children, fabricated or induced illness and chronic neglect.

Christopher regularly speaks at Chambers seminars on the developments in public law.

Prior to joining Chambers, Christopher spent six months working in Rwanda alongside a team of humanitarian lawyers. This involved a leading role on their Juvenile Prisoners’ Project and regularly travelling the country to teach on Child Rights under the UNCRC. He played an active part in Rwandese Ministry of Justice roundtables, supporting the development of their Legal Aid policy. He continues to spend time working in East Africa, supporting projects to increase access to justice.
