Jordan Franks

Barrister

Jordan’s practice has developed to cover all areas of Chambers’ criminal work, including offences of serious violence, firearms, drugs, sexual offences, public order and dishonesty.

He is regularly instructed to prosecute multi-handed cases and has an ability to work with lay and professional clients with sensitivity and care. An effective and persuasive advocate, Jordan is particularly adept in engaging the jury in closing arguments and prides himself on his thorough preparation.

Jordan also receives instructions form the Police, Home Office and Local Authorities in quasi-criminal matters. He was seconded to the Financial Conduct Authority in 2020, where he has worked on a range of high-profile investigations and enforcement proceedings.

Jordan completed pupillage at Westgate Chambers in 2014, supervised by Maria Hancock and Nicholas Hall.
