Chambers ranked in Legal 500, 2009 edition

Members of Chambers have again been ranked by the Legal 500. 'Westgate Chambers' Jeremy Gold QC defended John Worboys in the 'black-cab rapist trial, in April 2009. Philip Meredith is 'a very senior junior of silk quality'. Nicholas Hamblin is best known for his fraud and conspiracy work work, but also defended in the Brighton 'body in the box' wife murder. Jeffrey Lamb has wide experience in serious fraud including on Very High Costs Cases (VHCC). Sarah Lindop is an experienced junior for serious criminal defence. Stafford Graham Campbell is a senior junior for ancillary, particularly where trusts of land issues arise. Duncan Watson is 'pragmatic and negotiates effectively but is not afraid to go court if he thinks it is warranted' in ancillary relief matters. Maria Hancock has gained a reputation as a fighter for parents in contested care and difficult contact disputes, frequently appearing against local authorities.
