Nicholas Barnes

Nicholas is an experienced and versatile lawyer with a comprehensive common law practice, particularly on the Western Circuit, on the South Eastern Circuit and in London.

Nicholas’s work covers all aspects of financial and enforcement proceedings, in particular financial remedies (including overseas), nuptial agreements and schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989. It covers all types of claims by family members for or against wills including probate disputes, the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975 and disputes relating to cohabitees including living together and separation agreements and claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.

Nicholas’s work includes disputes in contract, wills/probate, bankruptcy, partnership, commercial, professional negligence, land including neighbour/boundary/rights of way and probate.
