Maria Hancock

A senior practitioner whose children and family law cases focus predominantly on complex medical issues including FII, NAI, serious sexual, physical and emotional abuse and neglect. Maria also has an expertise in international relocation, child abduction and cases involving children with gender dysphoria. She quickly inspires confidence in professional and lay clients (including Direct Access clients) with her thorough knowledge of law and procedure, her excellent oral and written advocacy and her calm but authoritative manner. At the same time, Maria is extremely approachable. She is experienced in Judicial Review and Human Rights applications arising from Children Act Proceedings.
